Everyone has their own vision of the automobile …
For parents, it’s a convenient way to take care of their family.
For pilots, it’s a source of adrenaline.
For nostalgic, it’s a symbol of freedom and sweet memories from the past.
And for others… it’s just a metal box to move from point A to point B.
But for me, Réjean Godin, the “Rebel Tires”,
It’s a true passion…
In my life, I’ve changed a lot of tires and fixed multiple car engines. I’ve been doing this since more than 20 years now and I learn new things every day. I have a team with torque, a purpose driven wife and wonderful clients. I’m a fulfill man, but what I love the most is seeing happy customers satisfied by our services.
You know, to get where I am today, I’ve worked very hard and the path was full of obstacles, but I’ve made it!
I remember my early days, when I was still a young Rebel…
At the beginning, I didn’t have a lot of experience, but I have a trump card up my sleeve: The opportunity to learn car mechanics from a passionate father.
He owns a garage: “Godin Shell Ltée”. Every day, he teaches me the tricks of the trade. Whether it is to pose, align, disassemble, reassemble, and repair, we leave no stone unturned. After 10 years, I have gained enough experience to take on new challenges.
It’s in July 2000 that I stepped up a gear by becoming an “OK Tire” franchisee. I have my own garage and a new family of 8 employees. Now, I need to keep a vigilant eye on potential business opportunities…
I learn through the branches that “Ok Tire” is looking for a distribution warehouse for maritime regions. Immediately, I reach them, sign a partnership and start to build a new warehouse. In no time, I go from 2,500 to 35,000 tires. It’s a real success!
But the race is not over yet…. I still have gas in the tank and today, I keep learning new things with my employees. Together, we find ways to reinvent ourselves and provide the best service possible. Our latest find? The Rebel Tires division! We offer a wide range of affordable tires to our customers who deserve to pay less for more. We are proud of our team achievement we look to the future with enthusiasm.
Before I get back to my engines, I want to share with you what “Being a Rebel” means for me…
A rebel is …
A driver who’s never stopped by obstacles on the road.
